2026 ntm conference educator workshop
March 7, 2026 (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) at ʻIolani School in Honolulu, HI
We’re excited to invite you to the Educator Workshop for the 2026 NTM Conference.
This one day workshop is designed for high school and undergraduate educators with interests in microbiology, molecular biology, genomic science, bioinformatics, and infectious disease. Participants will gain hands-on experience performing whole genome sequencing of non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) DNA derived from location-based environmental sampling.
Open to grade 9-12 life sciences teachers from all islands (with limited travel support for first time neighbor island teachers). Preference will be given to teachers who have attended our 2025 KAK NTM Workshop and teachers who have already participated in AIN NTM lessons.

June 12-14, 2025 at ʻIolani School in Honolulu, HI
Open to grade 9-12 life sciences teachers from all islands (with travel support for first time neighbor island teachers). PDE3 option available for DOE teachers.
